INTERFACING & PMC EDITING
Design and installation of interfaces to enable ancillary equipment to be connected & controlled by the machine (Lathes & Horizontal / Vertical Machining Centres).
Examples of Interfaces that can be installed on Lathes:
- Barfeed Interfaces (to suit Samsys / Sameca, Hydrafeed & LNS Barfeeds).
- Tool Presetter Interfaces
- High Pressure Coolant Systems
- Mist Extraction
- Robot Interfaces
Examples of Interfaces that can be installed on Horizontal & Vertical Machining Centres:
- Tool Probe & Tool Breakage Detect Interfaces
- Automatic Fixture Clamping (Pneumatic / Hydraulic or Vacuum)
- High Pressure Coolant Systems
- Mist Extraction
- Robot Interfaces
Eaves Tech have the capability to edit the machines sequence program (PMC) so that the control of the ancillary equipment can be fully integrated with the machine & control. This is possible on machines fitted with the following controls:
- FANUC - i-Series
- MITSUBISHI - M700 & M800
- TOSNUC - 800, 888, 999
This allows bespoke alarm messages to be created that relate to the equipment being controlled, in addition to adding & assigning M-Codes so that the equipment can be enabled / disabled from within the part program during Automatic Cycle.
